Sup Slicers!?
Today it’s my pleasure to introduce one of our contributors: Tonia L. Carrier. Tonia is a filmmaker from MI that has supported CinemaSlice for years– most noteably, Tonia took on the role of Gloria in the short horror anthology film, BLOOD ON THE LENS. Tonia also stared in the 2018 Holiday episode of the short horror film, O TIDINGS OF JOY. In addition, Tonia is working on a short horror film for a top secret CinemaSlice project! Needless to say, Tonia has solidified her spot with the Slice as a valuable contributor, and a multi-talented filmmaker!

Tonia started her film work in 2009 on an indie film called College Debts in Peoria, IL doing hair, makeup, and wardrobe. Right after that she started acting and making her own short films. In 2012, working alongside director of photography Rick Moreau she created her first short film Technobabble. Since then she has done another short film Bye Felicia, which won a spot in ihorror’s compilation film of the same title and 2 feature films called Selling Stupid (co-written, starring and edited by Roni Jonah) and the film Bailiwick — both available on Amazon and youtube!

Currently she is finishing up editing a comedy she produced and directed called That Wasn’t Supposed To Happen, written by Isiah Barnes as well as a couple of shorts produced for CinemaSlice.

Her full time job is as a hairstylist but she loves being on set as often as possible either as an actor or behind the camera.
